Tella के बारे में

Tella is an educational game designed to teach young children basic maths through engaging, play-based learning. Perfect for tablets in the classroom or at home, this app introduces children ages 5–8 to fundamental maths concepts in a way that feels like fun rather than instruction.

The app organizes maths tasks into game sets that children progress through at their own pace. Each activity has been carefully designed by educators to build confidence and understanding. What sets this approach apart is the customization: adults can easily adjust which tasks are visible, creating a personalized challenge level that matches each child's current skills and learning stage. As a child masters concepts, new tasks unlock, keeping the experience fresh and appropriately challenging.

Tella works across different learning environments. Teachers can use it in classroom settings to reinforce core numeracy skills, while parents can incorporate it into learning at home without any complicated setup. The game adapts to individual progress, so siblings or classmates at different levels can all benefit from the same app.

Developed by educators and funded by the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training, Tella combines research-backed pedagogy with intuitive tablet interaction. The app is available in Norwegian (bokmål and nynorsk), Spanish, and English, making it accessible to diverse learner communities.

Tella removes the pressure from early maths learning by letting children discover concepts through play, building both skills and confidence during these critical learning years.
